Q&A with Jeremy:

What is your school and major?
Cedarville University majoring in mechanical engineering

Why did you want to become part of the Design Outreach team?
My greatest passion is engineering, and my deepest desire is to serve in ministry. That’s why this internship is such a meaningful opportunity for me—it allows me to engage in ministry through the very skills I love. I deeply admire Design Outreach’s mission to share the Gospel through innovative technology, and I’m excited for the opportunity to contribute to that mission in a tangible way.

What is it about this ministry that motivates you?
I’m motivated by seeing how God moves people to serve those with the greatest needs. It is not common to see organizations whose primary goal isn’t profit but rather providing basic necessities to people living in harsh conditions. Being part of a ministry that puts compassion over gain and seeks to meet real needs in Jesus’ name truly inspires me.

What are you most looking forward to about your internship?
I’m most looking forward to seeing how experienced engineers apply their skills to solve real-world needs, and to learn how their faith influences the way they approach those challenges. I’m excited to grow in my own faith as I work alongside people who love Jesus and strive to do everything for His glory. Being part of a community that integrates engineering excellence with a heart for ministry is something I’m truly eager to experience.

What do you do when you are not working?
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with friends—whether that’s watching movies, playing games, or simply hanging out and talking. I also love staying active, especially by playing soccer or working out at the gym.

Who is your biggest hero?
My biggest heroes are my family. My parents have been a great example of God’s unconditional love, faithfulness to Him, and compassion toward others. My two older brothers have also been a constant source of support, offering advice and encouragement when I’ve needed it most. I admire them greatly, and I am deeply grateful for the way each of them has shaped who I am.

"Thank you so much for partnering with me as I partner with Design Outreach in this opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives by bringing the Gospel message to them, not only through words but also through selfless service. As you join me in this mission, I want to invite you to hold on to this promise with me: '...be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.' (I Corinthians 15:58) God bless you!"

"Para mis amados hermanos que me apoyan desde México: Muchas gracias por unirte conmigo a esta oportunidad de tener un impacto significativo en la vida de personas al llevarles el mensaje del Evangelio, no solamente con palabras sino con un acto desinteresado de servicio. Al ser parte de esta misión, quiero invitarte a que juntos nos nos aferremos a esta promesa: '…estad firmes y constantes, creciendo en la obra del Señor siempre, sabiendo que vuestro trabajo en el Señor no es en vano.' (I Corintios 15:58) ¡Dios te bendiga!"
